no such thing as 40 winks

Guess who's here?!?

Me am me and Boppa came on a blue airplane and I was so so so very excited!
I jump in circles, I twirl around, I dance and prance,
I stick out my tongue
and repeat it all.
I was so so so very excited.

THEN...
the beautiful Richardson family came all the way from the south to visit us, to drive crazy far away and go even farther south as they are preparing to live in Mexico for a long time as missionaries.  They have four children and
we jumped in circles, we twirled around, we dance and prance
and repeat it all.
I was so so so very excited.

This is Ryan.
He is 5.  He is like Dash from the Incredibles.
He is very good at sharing.
He is very good at climbing.
He is very good at being hungry.
He loves to jump in circles!

This is Ellie.
She is 4.
She is so very pretty.
She gives the best hugs and kisses.
She is all heart.
She makes Xander laugh and holds my hand.
She twirls around.

Levi dances and prances.
He is strong!
He is 1 going on 40, such a world he takes in.
He knows his words, knows his prayers, knows his siblings and how to hold his own while loving his sister brothers and us new friends.
He played peek a boo with me around doors and under tables.
Levi is beauty.

With Xander is Matthew.
Matthew is 7 months old and yes weighs the same as Xander.
He has the biggest blue eyes and squeals and giggles and between he and Xander,
They keep me am me's arms busy.
They keep their mommies busy (and able to steal quiet moments)
They eat, smile, cry, eat, smile, sleep, eat, smile, gurgle...repeat.

We have been a crazy full house and we are so blessed.

Love, your minamin

dintee dawg az sore egg

My brother is 4 months old today
He celebrates this day with his Uncle Chris who is also turning 4.
Well, so I know.
My brother is 4 months old today
He's found his fingers, his toes and legs
He loves to feel mommy and daddy holding him
I love to hold him
I love to give him kisses and hugs and remind him I'm his brother
He follows me with his big lovely joyous eyes all over the room
He smiles when I get excited or when I talk beside him

My brother is 4 months old today
His Robeez shoes are too small for him
He is almost out of warm sleepers
He rolls over now
I roll over too.
Mommy asks me to not roll over him.
What does she know.
My brother is 4 months old today
We celebrated watching a parade with Great Grampa and Grampa and Tattoo
We celebrated by keeping mommy and daddy up all night.  ALL NIGHT
We celebrated by seeing Great Gramma and all her knitting and mommy's Auntie Bev even showed up for a hello (Nana, she gave us the Casting Crowns Christmas cd...it's in the player full time)
We celebrated by having lunch with Emma and her Aleisha and Paul (what a lovely lovely family)
And I'm celebrating my brother being 4 months old...
by making him a cake.
an ice cake.  I've heard their low fat, in anyone wants the recipe.

FREEDOM!!!!

Look who fits in the stroller!

I get a buddy, and am a very very good stroller sharing boy.
I LOVE having baby Ander in with me.
And mommy is so so so happy, she feels like it's a new page, she feels lighter, and walks faster and bouncier, she wants to go farther, and we would conquer all the land if big stinky mathey didn't have an ow-ee.

We have had a full week of mostly preparing for Christmas, cleaning Mathey off of the walls, cleaning fingers off the doors, making Me-am-me's bed (Grampa gets to sleep there too) biking in the basement and watching baby Ander grow grow grow.  His head is changing shape, he has found all his fingers and toes and puts himself to sleep the odd time by sucking his thumb.

Priceless days.

Our Christmas wall is even bigger then this photo!  We have Nana on it, we have Dan and Tera, we have daddy's work friends, and mommy's Auntie Bev and Uncle John.  The wall makes mommy smile smile smile, so thank you all my family for thinking of us.  We see the love every morning in the early light of the Christmas tree.

and Nana, your calender was an instant hit.  the only problem was who got to look at it first!
(Daddy won, and he even shared, I have a good daddy)

Well, see you soon Me am me and Boppa,
I've got my books all ready for you to read
cookies ready to be baked
mornings ready to wake you up
and a brother to drool all over you
(I said brother, not pooch, but I'm sure Mathey will do his part)
I love you all my family

happy birthday our dear dear four legged boy!

Today's blog goes in complete dedication to our puppy as he is 5 years old as of today.  Our first baby.  Our residency friend, our stink up the tent, stink up the car, stink up the house, stink up the friends we have over, stink up the yard, stink up the movie we're watching....and we wouldn't change you for anything- Mathesar.
Mommy and Auntie Stephy drove to Prince George, B.C.b to meet him at a drive in coffee shop.  He came to us with no looking back.  No wimpers, not scared in the corner...just knew that he was coming home.

He grew! is an understatement but one year later daddy's arms were much fuller.

And he's been our friend and trusty gentle companion all the way!
He's hiked beside us
he's walked beside us
he's traveled from B.C. to O.N. and as far south as
the giant Redwoods.
He's stopped traffic
He's met the mayor of Saskatoon and had a star performance at church.
He's graced numerous business and shops with his huge presence and has his photos at the local hardware store.

But most of all he's been our pet.  And we love him. We love being with him, and coming home to him

and we think he loves it too.
Happy Birthday our Mathesar.
