I love my daddy!
Hello my family!

We have been having such a good time, there are so many fantastic moments in our day, that I can hardly take in one before the next one comes!  How I wish we could share them all with our prairie family!

Mommy thought it best to have a short blog tonight and a few more photos, so that's what I'll do. I won't mention my new sand box that Boppa L and Me-am-me made me (once the yellow jackets left), or the walks to the park and swing rides with daddy, or the slide rides with Me-am-me, or the rock band Boppa and I are going to start up (called the DumpTruckDirt Band) or the millions of kisses I give Alexander, or how he now weighs 10.5 lbs (and is 2 weeks old) and how I have a zillion dump trucks and bobcats to play with, or how me-am-me and Boppa Dennis are making Alexander a dresser (cheered on by mommy and daddy) or how I play trains at Indigo, or or or...I'll save it all and say I love you and wish you were here to make fantastic moments with.

I love you all.

Boppa L's here!

Mommy, what are you cookin?
Hello Nanna!  Hello Auntie Wu and Uncle Cam!  Hello Auntie Samantha-love the blog!  Hello Boppa & Tattoo!  Hello Uncle Jonathan & Auntie Stephanie, I don't know if Hannah takes in the blog yet, if so, Hello Hannah-boy do I miss you all!

For starters, I LOVE baby Alexander.  I am still keeping my quota of kissing him thirteen million times a day, and I am very gentle when I climb up on mommy (who's holding him) and give him kisses.  Or I kiss him while in the bouncy chair.  And when he's not, and when he's up and when he's asleep.  My favourite thing to yell is 'eyes open!' whenever he's awake.  It's a great part of every day.

Next best thing is Boppa Loback is here!!! His plane has been coming for days, and finally it landed and he arrived a few minutes after daddy came back from operating!  I even cut my nap short when I heard his voice, and was rather concerned when we all went to Home Depot and Me-am-me and Boppa went in another car.   I kept saying bye to mommy and daddy thinking it wouldn't be a bad thing to be with Boppa and Me-am-me for a while.  Mommy didn't agree.

I'm off to bed now, it's been a big day, what day isn't when you're two?  I love you all and miss you so very much.  Nanna, I wish so much you could be here, seeing ALL my grandparents would be the best thing on earth.  I love them all so very much, I'm so so so blessed.  They're my bestest friends, all of them.

Xoxoxo
(can't wait to see you next weekend Uncle Cameron and Auntie Wu, can't wait for you to meet my Alexander)

That's not a monkey--that's Jesus.

Hello family I love!  Daddy's been reading to me and answering ALL my questions (see title)

We have had a great week!  Daddy has been home and been my sidekick every day, it has been so awesome.  Sometimes with family over I go off the walls in excitement, but when daddy and I hang out, I settle right on down, kiss Alexander a million times (no matter what he is doing) and torment Mathey for kicks.

We all went for a walk yesterday, and mommy was later told off by the mid wife.  I don't know what told off means, but she said she'll tell me some day.  Mommy is doing really well, daddy has been taking care of everything, and mommy has just felt blessed beyond anything.

Alexander gained 1/2 a pound in 2 days, daddy's mouth fell open when we found out, I kissed Alexander, and mommy said "maybe that's why I'm craving doughnuts!"

Alexander sleeps a lot, I cheer for joy when I see his eyes open, daddy wishes I would sleep a lot (can't imagine why) and mommy hopes it doesn't mean he'll be up late at night.  I've been doing my part by waking up at 7:00 instead of 6:00.  I told you I'm a good boy!

Daddy's last day home is tomorrow, so we're all a bit pouty, but Me-am-me comes back (YIPPEE) and Boppa comes this weekend (YIPPEE).  I wish I could see everyone's faces, and show them Alexander, I really do like him!

Alexander Mark Loback, 9 Lbs, August 18th, 10:15pm Superstar!

Hello Family so far away, GUESS WHO'S HERE?!?!!!!

My brother! Mommy and daddy went for supper (so they told me) and came back with a baby! I was off the roof excited! I wanted Alexander to read a book with me, the first night he came home but daddy said it was a tad preemptive. I think that was the word.
Now we are here, one big family. Mathey is celebrating by snoozing, I am celebrating by asking 1.6 million questions a minute, daddy is celebrating by cooking, cleaning, getting mommy things (he is a good good daddy) and mommy is celebrating by sitting on her duff, as she puts it.

I just wanted to send a few photos so everyone could know how much we miss them.

Love you
Going to smack Alexander on the head now,
Benjamin

Hi my family!
We had a GREAT day!  Daddy took us all to the zoo, and I had such a good time.  Drains and strollers, and the bus that took people around and...and...and.  Well I guess there were a few animals too!
Giraffe's are so graceful, we were in awe.  This one was by itself, which was sad but it didn't seem to bothered.  It came around later on our way out, so we were able to see it up close.  Mommy was pretty tired by then, carrying a big belly and all.
SNOW CONES, my very first one.  Daddy bought me a blue one and I was nice enough to share it with Me-am-me, mommy and daddy, and we were all refreshed by it.  Then we headed out, amongst the streams of strollers and other small family's, pregnant and not.
A nice day to spend at the zoo, yay for drains, snow cones, and.... mythical moose.

Mommy's still round!
We're waiting and waiting, perhaps our extended family less patiently then us.  Mommy keeps reminding them that she's happy not to have to leave me right away.  The baby seems happy too, kick kick kick.
I kick too! I kick in the mud, I kick in the puddles, I kick Mathey (much as I shouldn't), I kick grapes that I pull off the vine, I kick sand at the parks, I kick the back of Me-am-me's seat in the truck, I love kicking!
Daddy is working late tonight, there is another 'fellow' (that's daddy's title this year) who works with him and if one of them is on call and operates in the emergency department, then the other will stay and help out.  So that's where daddy is, helping out.  We don't complain too much, I miss him when I can't see him for even a bit every day, but mommy points out, he's had every Friday off since being here, and that is a good step in the right direction.
Auntie Wu, thank you for your comments, you make us smile SO VERY BIG when you leave them.  We miss you too, so much, your conversation, your company, your sunshine.  The 19th gets closer and closer, we'll see how round mommy is then.

It's bath time, which is good as I just sat in the mud.
Love you all

Hello family that I love!
Yesterday was mommy's birthday and we celebrated with cookies and Tim Hortons down town T.O. in a big park!  Mommy was very happy to do so, as she doesn't like to sit forever in restaurants, and is happier 'plunked out on the grass'.
Daddy was happy because this park was a few steps from where he works, so we could find him faster, and he could watch all the fancy cars drive by (Lamborghini's, Ferrari's, Aston Martin's, Mercedes AMG SLS', etc, etc.) that mommy says he will never own.
Me-am-me is with us, and is such fun.  She held me up on the train ride so I could watch out the window through the tunnel, and then she pushed my umbrella stroller (which she has threatened to 'forget' somewhere we can never find it, as it's such a pain) all across the grass and uneven pavement, up and down stairs loaded with bags.  She's so GREAT!!!
Today we celebrated Me-am-me and Bop-Bop's anniversary, which meant I got ice cream.  Bop Bop celebrated by taking care of a water issue at my house in Saskatoon.  Happy Anniversary Bop Bop!
We are loving the warm bug free evenings in our back yard.  Me-am-me and daddy are building me a sandbox, I'm supervising, and am very good at it thank you very much.
Come out and play if you have the chance!

Hello family!
I got to spend time with my favourite HANNAH and my new all time favourite DOSH!  Auntie Samantha came to visit with Bop Bop Dennis, and she stayed a whole day and a half, and we played ring around the rosie, played in the pool, worked on the garbage (see above photo) napped (mommy and Auntie Samantha's highlight) bounced Dosh in the excosaucer, ate ice cream, chased MaMa (grabbed his tail a few times too) ran around the grass, dug in the dirt, and screamed like crazy.  It was such a good time, we were ALL sad to see them go, but they wanted to go home, and I have to agree, home is a good place to be.
Not that I have had much time pouting about losing my cousins.  Me-amme is here!!!!!!  Or really I should say ME-AM-ME is here, that's about the volume level I call her every morning, or any time I want to know where she is, or have her come help me in the dirt, or with my toys (she gave me an excavator, I say 'ho', it's easier, and it makes noise) or if I just want her to know I'm thinking of her. ME-AM-ME! ME-AM-ME! ME-AM-ME!
We help mommy a lot, I put toys down for her to waddle around, Me-am-me makes supper. I pee on the floor, Me-am-me cleans it up.  I chase Mathey, Me-am-me washes dishes.  We're a great team.  I think I'm going to convince Bop Bop Loback to work here with daddy for the year so they can both stay....
Now thinking how to get everyone else down here...
Hmmm.

Xoxo
