September 7

I do NOT want to eat that.
Hello Grammie and Grampa,

You have rain gear for golfing?!?  I won't say another word even though mommy and daddy are snickering in the background.  Grampa, the robins are back by the boatloads, could they be getting ready to migrate south?  We haven't noticed large groups of them, but they are coupled everywhere.
Today has been a nice day, I didn't sleep as long as mommy had hoped (silly mommy) and daddy was back to work and is on call tonight. He is home studying right now, I spent about 10 minutes with him before bedtime, mommy tries hard not to think of the days ahead.   Good thing you are both around and both have been through the tough years, daddy and mommy know they are very blessed to have you both.
We took Mathey for a muddy walk, and walked through the park you had your wedding pictures taken at, they took down the no dog sign so we were able to see the flowers, benches and fountain.
The weather is supposed to clear up in a few days, we'll try and share whatever sunshine we get.

Love you both, when do you come home?

Your Benjamin

  1. Hi Benjamin,
We didn't need our rain gear today...the sun was out for a while but mostly cloudy. You will need to eat the food mommy feeds you if you are going to be a golfer that hits it 270 yards like grandpa. I only hope you learn to hit it straighter. The rough is brutal here in places and if you are off the fairway there is NO chance you will find your ball!
Any way grandma wants a few werds to.
Hi B.J. - we enjoy your pictures. As was mentioned we had another nice day. After we wrote yesterday the rain stopped about 4 p.m. so we headed out on the Birks of Aberfeldy trail. Birks are birches and there is a spot on the trail where Robert Burns wrote the poem - Birks of Aberfeldy. We crossed the Falls of Moness which was a beautful falls which fell several hundred feet we guess. We had to be careful coming down because the trail was slippery in places because of the rain. We have found a nice walking trail right into downtown so it is easy for us to walk in for groceries. We cooked at home again tonight - salmon again. Tomorrowis a hiking day again and we still have to settle on one of two choices. There is not much shopping here - Grandpa says hooray! - so we will be going to a bit larger centre for one of the hikes so may try there. Unfortunately we leave for Glasgow on Sunday the 12th and am not sure what we have there for internet. We leave and arrive home on Saturday the 18th. How did Mathey make out at the Dr. - is he okay? I hope the weather is still nice when we get home.
    Love you all
    Grandpa and Grammie
