Hello family I love!

We have had such a big big weekend!

Daddy packed all of us up in mommy's truck and away we drove to Jack's house.  Jack lives near Ottawa, and shares his house with Daddy's friend Jim, and Jack's mommy Susan and Jacks baby Robbie.

What fun we had.  Sharing, not sharing, screaming, not screaming, sleeping, not sleeping, laughing, not laughing, chasing mathey, chasing rosie, measuring our heights on the wall, playing in the snow, getting too wet in the puddles, walking, running, strolling, and eating good good food with my friends.

Baby AnderZander and Robbie held hands, they are going to be fast friends too.  By then, Jack and I will have taught them how to share, as we are learning daily.

We went Hull, Quebec for some beaver tails, hot chocolate, and winter fun. 
Sliding down huge slides with mommy and daddy (wet bums for free) through mazes, and around obstacle courses in dog sleds.  Fun fun fun.

After an action packed weekend, we went and had breakfast with mommy's Uncle Craig and Aunt Jennifer, and their Ella and Colin who showed me all over their new house, their new rooms, their toys, their basement, their garage with a tractor to drive....I'm so excited just thinking about it.  I really like Ella and Colin, they are so much fun to be with.  Baby AnderZander likes them too!  SO much in fact, he helped them redecorate by smashing not only a plant and pot, but a few minutes later a cup and mug. 

they got him back in their own way :)


Well, we are certainly having a low key day here today.  I think I might see grampa and tattoo on their way home, they may stop for supper today (they were in Ottawa too) but mommy is happy to have a low key day and as daddy feels not so upbeat, it's a good quiet day for him too.

firsts

several new things have happened this week, my family that I love

marking yet another leap on the growth chart.

For instance...

1) I chose the sweat pants I wanted. 
Mommy chose grey, I chose green, so green we
brought home from the store.  (mommy says her
fashion sense being what it is,
it isn't a downfall to listen to advice of a
male two and a half year old)

 2) Baby AnderZander has left the baby bath tub for the baby bath seat.






 

3) I used my money dar (car) money to buy boo tfwuck (blue truck) from a daydee (lady) at dore (store)

 4) Someone is loving solids! (someone's parents are loving the high chair - thank you mi-am-me and boppa)

 5) Baby AnderZander is staying awake more for hikes, and I get to get out and hike some too.














6) AnderZander rolls and rolls and rolls,
getting himself into the tightest of jams!

Ooops!

Daddy and mommy are barely keeping up with AnderZander and me.  But they assure us we are good boys, even when they look at each other with eyes wide in 'what did we get ourselves into' or 'people have more then two!?!?! They're crazy!!!!!'.

And I love making noise,

running like crazy

and teaching my brother all I know.

ROM and more

Baby AnderXander did we go to the ROM the other day?
"why yes Minamin we did"
and who did we go with?
"why we went with a mommy a daddy and a Twishe"
oh and what is a ROM Baby AnderXander

Of course. And we took the choo choo train to the ROM and daddy carried the stroller all up the stairs and down the stairs, he's a goo-ooood daddy.  And I plugged my ears when the trains came by.

"me too."

And what did we see at the ROM Baby Xander?

"we saw big turtles, little birds, big walls, little coins.  Big trees, and little stone heads"


and some heads not so full of stone.

we saw walls from the pyramids
and fish tanks of pretty fish

we saw goblets from the Byzantine area
and jewellery from the tribes of New Zealand.

"and we saw books from long long long ago, ones that mommy and daddy are familiar with"










we saw mummies, and daddy's.  We saw Twishe's and fishes.  We saw bears and tigers and lions oh my!

This actual lion came from King Nebachadnezzer II palace back when Daniel may have walked past.

yes I did.

memory lane

Hello my favourite people.

Remember me at this age?  I am 6 months and around 20 lbs in that photo, it was SO LONG AGO. (so long ago being yesterday).  On the floor in the bathroom with my mommy.  And now Alexander is the one on his tummy. Except mommy says he's slightly more 'energetic' then I was.  He not only rolls on to his tummy but then over to his back, tummy, back, tummy, back, tummy, back all the way across the floor.

And we have family that looked this cute and chubby not to long ago.  Anybody recognize this angel?

Mommy remembers her not liking to stand very much
and always being dressed SO CUTE.

What did she weigh at this time, 19 lbs? 

This is at Brightsands where we all thought her mommy and daddy were heroes for tenting it.  And the 'garage sale' they had of stuff looked big at the time, but we have outdone them since. sigh :)

here is the birthday boy.
This is Joshua at 1 year old
1 year old and taking BIG steps.
He likes to eat raw potatoes, Christmas trees and whatever he can beat the puppy too.
He weighs 22 lbs.

He is so beautiful, them Andersen's know what they are doing.

Now here's our favourite charmer.
Isn't she a doll?  Mommy sees her little Stephanie all over again in look and way to smart twinkle in her eye.
Amelia is 9 months
She is 19 lbs of movement, energy, and smiles.

Oh my goodness she is so cute!

I have the cutest cousins.
And the cutest brother, in the world!!!


My Baby AnderZander

Baby Alexander
5 months now and likes to spit,
to put things in his mouth,
likes to mimic us eating (if me am me and boppa were here I'd be fed something already - yeesh, what's taking them so long?)
likes to sleep sporadically
and wake up sporadically throughout the night
his head movement has improved ten fold over the last few days, following ME wherever I go, laughing at Mathey
watching daddy and sending him a gorgeous smile whenever he least expects it
and enjoys the excosaucer sometimes, and the bouncy chair a lot more.  He's a relaxin' kind of boy.

He weighs 21 lbs.

(oh I'm 2 1/2 now.  Hannah just turned 4-she's huge, all grown up watching Cinderella for the 1st time)  I am a stickers and markers and playdoh kind of man.  I help mommy a lot, I chose my own clothes, and AnderZanders. I put my own dishes in the sink, feed the dog, flush, put toys away, and ride my bike with gusto.  Tomorrow daddy's teaching me to drive so I can use mommy's truck to get to college.

Mommy's friend Twishe is here and mommy told me she's smart and talented and creative, but until we played with Play-do, I had no idea!

And she is here to visit in me am me's room for a while we went downtown to a very tall building where mommy and I played eat one cheerio at a time while Twishe went to get some paperwork completed to go and work in Europe, and we were waiting on leather couches with glass doors hiding adults in business suits and high boots and expensive skirts, and we were all splayed out with our winter gear and stroller that doesn't turn, and wool toques and baby bags and such.  Regular Loback garage sale.  Sound like us Auntie Wu?

And to get ready for Twishe to come we got to wash the floors, and I helped by telling Mady to lay down
and we vacuumed Mady hair
and I helped by telling Mady to lay down
and we made beds and cleaned mirrors
and I helped by telling Mady to lay down
he's a good dog.
and
a stinky dog with sore leg.
and we did laundry...

and it broke down so we had to ask for someone to come and fix it,
and he did a few days later
so we had pajama days because I was out of pants
and daddy washed a load by hand
(mommy was so impressed)
and the man fixed the machine letting us know the washer isn't long for this world, which makes daddy wonder if they'll put it in one of their million dollar rentals (hee hee)

and daddy found more pieces to the train track so now it has a small loop and a big loop
so I ask mommy to come and build me a loop
then sit down on dirt couch and watch
or I'll ask daddy to build me a bridge
then sit down on the sand couch and watch.
I like having my trains to myself.  although I have been known to share

with people I like.  Like my mommy's cousin Kevin.  He's very alright.

  Mommy really likes him.

His brother is alright too.  He introduced me to hockey.

I think I like it.

What I really like is

Nana who called before going to bed, what a lovely surprise.

And Stephy who left a message for the first time-mommy says yeesh.

and Auntie manta who lets us be a part of her days

and Auntie Wu who leaves TWO messages, and we hope hope hope she is getting lots of rest.

oh and Uncle Chris' jeep.
